Kuwait - KUWAIT (July 30, 2020) A U.S. Navy hospital corpsman assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Central Command 20.2, monitors the flow of blood to a patient during a Valkyrie Emergency Whole Blood Transfusion Training Program in Kuwait, July 30, 2020. The Valkyrie program is designed to place the whole blood transfusion capability into the hands of medical responders in the forward edge of the battlefield.
