Cpl. Jose I. Navarrette a metal worker with Maintenance Detachment, Combat Logistics Battalion 13, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, grinds down paint on a towing cylinder belonging to a MK-36 7-ton truck, as he looks for signs of breaks and metal fatigue, aboard USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) during his 2013 Western Pacific Deployment, Sept. 10. He is one of very few Marines to have the occupation of Metal Worker.
