U.S. and Philippine Marines conduct helocast training during Amphibious Landing Exercise 2014 (PHIBLEX 14) at Marine Barracks Gregorio Lim, Ternate, Cavite, Republic of the Philippines, Sept. 18, 2013. Bilateral training during PHIBLEX 14 ensures Philippine and U.S. forces are capable of integrating effectively to conduct humanitarian assistance and regional security missions. The U.S. Marines are with Force Reconnaissance Platoon, Maritime Raid Force, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit. The Philippine Marines are with Force Reconnaissance Battalion.
