U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Charles Schillin with Battalion Landing Team 2/1 Sniper Platoon, attached to the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), scans the area using his scope to look for potential enemy threats as he takes part in a straight transit drill aboard the USS Boxer during the Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX), where a combined team works together to provide security while traveling through congested areas at sea, Oct. 19, 2015. COMPTUEX provides the MEU ARG the opportunity to integrate naval training while also allowing focused, mission-specific training and evaluation for the Marines and their Navy counter parts.
