Lance Cpl. Daniel Ebrahim, an infantryman with Company "A," 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Battalion Landing Team 2/1, the ground combat element for the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, fires on targets from the kneeling position during marksmanship sustainment aboard the USS Boxer during Composite Training Unit Exercise, Oct. 24, 2015. The Marines were coached by seniors as they practice firing from combat shooting positions in pairs as part of a training package designed to refine their shooting mechanics and develop marksmanship skills. COMPTUEX provides the MEU ARG the opportunity to integrate naval training while also allowing focused, mission-specific training and evaluation for the Marines and their Navy counter parts.
