On Nov. 6, 2015, aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Paul Mangan, the president of the Vietnam Veterans of 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, places flowers below plaques newly dedicated to members of the regiment who gave their lives during the Vietnam War.
