U.S. Marines with 1st Platoon, Company “F”, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, and 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, attached to the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, reinforce a simulated U.S. Embassy against protesters at the Maritime Law Enforcement Training Center, Los Angeles, Calif., during their Certification Exercise (CERTEX), Dec. 8, 2015. Embassy reinforcement is a mission the MEU is specifically trained for.
