PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 14, 2016) – U.S. Navy Lieutenant Lloyd Wicker, a chaplain with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, completes the rite of Holy Communion aboard the USS New Orleans, At Sea, Feb. 14, 2016. As their first Sunday together comes to end the religious team is looking forward to many more worship opportunities to provide mental and moral strength for service members aboard the ship. More than 4,500 Marines and Sailors with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Boxer Amphibious Ready Group are transiting the Pacific Ocean en route to the Pacific and Central command areas of responsibility.
