U.S. Marines with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit Command Element, await to be issued their M9 pistol before a pistol qualification range at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Nov. 26, 2019. The annual range test Marines on their marksmanship with a service pistol and qualifies them to stand duty in support of MEU operations. The California-based 13th MEU is scalable, and highly capable Marine Air-Ground Task Force, designed to rapidly respond to a wide range of military operations globally.
