Smith Jr., I Marine Expeditionary Force Commanding General, during the 13th MEU Change of Command Ceremony at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Aug. 10, 2023. Colonel Samuel L. Meyer relinquished command of the 13th MEU to Colonel Stuart W. Glenn.
