Cpl. Patrick A. Robinson, squad leader, Co. F, prepares a time fuse for a Bangalore Torpedo. After pulling the pin and seeing smoke, Robinson had five minutes to clear the area before the torpedo detonated. The Bangalore is used to clear obstacles such as constantina wire or fences.
