An landing assault vehicle driver conducts training for a surface tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel here. The Light Armored Reconassiance Platoon, Battalion Landing Team 1/1 performed the training as part of Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise which is the first major exercise in the MEU's workup cycle.
