Nominees for the 2011 Sea Services Spouse of the Year Award from throughout the San Diego region receive recognition for their volunteerism at a ceremony inside the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina, Dec. 8th. The San Diego Council Navy League of the United States honored three military spouses from the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard with the 2011 Sea Services Marine Spouse of the Year Award. Traci Tallman, wife of Gunnery Sgt. Paul D. Tallman, warehouse chief 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, I Marine Expeditionary Unit, was honored with the Marine Spouse of the Year Award.
